I want it that way.

I got the Sabrina soundtrack and the Backstreet Boys music videos DVD that I ordered on Amazon last week in the mail today. I've already been listening to the Sabrina soundtrack, and now I'm about to watch this BSB DVD. The Sabrina soundtrack is great, it features my favorite artists: Spice Girls, Britney Spears, and the Backstreet Boys! And this Backstreet Boys greatest hits DVD makes me more excited about seeing them on tour this year. My boyfriend and I are going to see them on August 30th and I also get to meet them-- I'm beyond excited!!! My all time favorite Backstreet Boys song is I Want it That Way, which is the song I decided to post the music video to in this blog entry. Hope y'all enjoy it at least half as much as I do! <3

What a pleasant surprise.

I have been watching Sabrina The Teenage Witch since they started airing it on Teen Nick from the very first episode about a month ago. I have never seen all the episodes of this show, just a few episodes here and there back when it used to air. I knew Britney Spears guest-starred on the show, but I don't remember the Backstreet Boys being on it. Tonight, they showed episodes 17 and 18 of the second season; the Backstreet Boys appeared at the end of episode 18, (The Band Show) and sang one of my favorite songs by them. I really enjoyed it! <3

I ordered the Sabrina soundtrack from Amazon a few days ago and received an e-mail that it was shipped today. I cannot wait. The soundtrack features a lot of artists that I like. :)

Hope you enjoy this show as much as I do!

Do you know what it takes to love me.

I've never heard this song before until just now at work and I really really liked it. I thought it had a 90's sound to it and when I looked it up on YouTube, I found out it came out in the United States in 1997 and it is sung by Robyn, the Swedish singer. It's off of her debut album and I had no idea she debuted in the 90's because I've only heard recent songs by her which I have really liked. I saw Coldplay in concert during the summer of 2012 in Dallas and she opened for them. She sang a recent song called "Indestructible" which I have fallen in love with. <3

Enjoy!!

Sometimes I run, sometimes I hide.

As I sit on the couch with my precious Leonardo cuddled up next to me and my boyfriend works the graveyard shift at the Psychiatric unit tonight, I'm thinking I will kick this blog off with the music video of my all-time favorite Britney Spears song that makes me feel more nostalgic than ever. I still remember the day Britney's music video for "Baby One More Time" came out and was playing on MTV nonstop. I was about 9-years-old, living in Israel then. I loved the song and wondered who that young, beautiful, energetic girl was. As she came out with more videos from her first album, I grew to like her even more. To this day, the song "Sometimes" off her first album is my all-time favorite Britney song.

...Baby One More Time has got to be my favorite Britney album!

Peace!

Nostalgia: An introduction.

Welcome to my new blog. :))) I'm still working on it, so check back soon!

My feelings of nostalgia have inspired me to create a blog. There's just something about old school Backstreet Boys music and music from artists that came out in the 90's that make me feel carefree, nostalgic. Music from Britney Spears' first album makes me feel that way the most... Along with the first two Spice Girls albums; oh, I was a huge Spice Girls fan when I was living in Israel and they were so popular-- I had t-shirts, posters, notebooks, stickers, an alarm clock, etc. I guess you can say I'm still stuck in the 90's. I don't know if it's because listening to old school Britney Spears and watching Sabrina the Teenage Witch makes me feel like a kid again and brings back my innocence, or whether it's because nothing better has come out since then that will top everything from my younger years-- maybe it's a little bit of both. ;)

Sincerely,
Marina xoxo

P.S. Yes, that is Lady Gaga polishing Britney's star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. ;)
